Our Approach
According to research, if breastfeeding were scaled up to near-universal levels, about 820,000 child lives would be saved every year. But according to statistics, only 40% of infants under six months of age are exclusively breastfed. Apart from ensuring child health and survival, breastfeeding has also been proven to improve maternal health by allowing the mother to recover much faster from childbirth and decreasing the chances of postpartum depression as well as ovarian and breast cancer in the long term.
Despite these facts, global breastfeeding rates remain low and there has been a lack of technological innovation in this field for over 30 years. At HelpMe Feed, we believe that women should be able to breastfeed for as long as they want to and have the support that they need during challenging times.
To accomplish this mission, we seek trusted collaborators and partners with in-depth subject-matter expertise and proven contribution to research, technological innovation and child & maternal health.
We are interested in collaborating with medical and technological experts, universities, research institutions, and start-ups around the globe.
